Clancard Documentation

What is a Clancard?

It is similar to the Gamercard, but includes special Xbox Clan Features. The Clancard combines the Gamercard achievements with personal Clan achievements and makes a Rankingsystem possible.
1. The Need for a Clancard

Why would a Clan need a Clancard?
  • The Clan is registered centrally
  • All listed Clancards are included in a ranking system (see below) based on Stars and Points
  • All important Clan data are visible and comparable with the data of other Clans
  • The Virtual Clancard is the basis for the physical, printed Clancard (Credit-Card format)
  • High-Ranked Clans can benefit from special Privileges, for example, automatic assignment of a Tournament-Slot
  • And the most important thing: By virtue of the Clancard Ranking everybody can see who's leading the Clan scene.


2. How a Clan gets a Clancard

The Clan needs to be registered on www.xbox-liveforum.de and the Clan leader has to apply for a Clan-Subforum. There are three Rules that apply: The Clans needs to have a minimum of 5 Clan members and its own web site. The clan has to be ready for a war or a competition. Then the Clan leader will join a Special Group, granting him Access to the secret Clan-Leader-Area. Within this Group all Clan leaders are assigned some Privileges, one of which is their own Clancard.

3. Determine Scoring

There are three kinds of Stars:
  • bronze star = 250 Points
  • silver star = 500 Points
  • golden star = 1.000 Points

There are 5 Stars in 5 Categories which can be awarded:
  • Age-Points (AP): Clan age in years since Foundation
  • Match-Points (MP): successful fought Matches
  • Tournament-Points (TP): successful completed Tournaments
  •    - Win counts 3 Points,
  •    - Second Place counts 2 Points and
  •    - Third Place counts 1 Point
  • Squad-Points (SP): Teams which are ready for Competitions and Matches
  • Clan of the Month-Point (CP): awarded when Clan is voted "Clan of the Month" on www.xbox.de

How to get a star

- Age-Points (AP)
  • 1 year = bronze star,
  • 2 years = silver star,
  • 3 years = golden star
- Match-Points (MP)
  • 10 Points = bronze star,
  • 50 Points = silver star,
  • 100 Points = golden star
- Tournament-Points (TP)
  • 10 Points = bronze star,
  • 50 Points = silver star,
  • 100 Points = golden star
- Squad-Points (SP)
  • 1 Squad playing: bronze star,
  • 2-3 Squads playing: silver star,
  • 4 Squads playing: golden star

- Clan of the Month (CP) earns a golden star


Explanation of Scoring

Clan score: Sum of all Stars, Highscore = 5.000 Points = 5 golden Stars Members: Sum of Members / Gamer tags fed in by Clan leader Member-GS: Sum of Member-Gamerscores


4. The Ranking-System

By counting Stars it is possible to generate a ranking system. We are able to identify 5-Star-Clans, 4-Star-Clans, and so on. But it is not important to get a first star, it is important to get registered.
